Italian Language Meet Up

The Italian language meetup is an informal opportunity to make new friends and get to know your classmates or other students at the school better. 

The meetup is not an Italian lesson, but it is still a way to practice speaking the Italian language with Italians and other students while drinking a glass of wine, a spritz, a beer or a simple coffee. You can talk about various topics related to Venice and beyond. The meetup takes place in a traditional Venetian tavern (bacaro) located in the Cannaregio area near the Faculty of Economics of the University of Venice and the Tre Archi bridge. The place is called “Ai Canottieri” and has recently been restored thanks to the new management. We look forward to seeing you on Monday at 5.30pm. If you will participate, register on meet-up. The event will be weekly starting in April. There is no charge for the Italian language meetup; however, students who want to drink or eat something will have to pay for what they have consumed themselves.
